If you enjoy having a a drink every now and then, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and cheques back at the hotel. Grab only the money you expect to use on beverages, tips and only the pocket change you expect to lose and leave the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You could have a profit after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to catch a long toss at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that adventure seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and gamble. The two simply don’t go well together.

Keeping your cash back at the hotel might be a bit dramatic, but preventative actions for dramatic behavior is necessary. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a worry, then drink all the gratis booze your stomach can handle, but don’t take credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your dead drunk head squanders all the cash!

Allow me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink and then go on the net to wager in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my apartment, but since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and bet.

What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is certainly enough to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
